Director of Web Development, CHROMATIC – 2008-current

Responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of standards-based, content managed websites. Primarily focused on developing with the Drupal platform. Other responsibilities include: writing custom Drupal modules, interface design, project scoping/quoting, managing client relationships, and training.

Interactive Designer/Developer, Shaker Advertising, Oak Park, IL – 2006-2008

Lead developer on a host of web projects, including the redesign of www.shaker.com. Produced multiple websites and extranets using the Drupal CMS as well as custom PHP-based templates. Developed custom Drupal modules and web forms for various purposes, including online application processes, request forms and email scripts. Created Flash animations for websites, microsites, e-cards, etc. Provided consultative assistance to account executives and project managers regarding web standards, best practices and other technical issues. Introduced fellow interactive team members to content management systems and JavaScript/ActionScript animation libraries. Implemented various tracking mechanisms, including Google Analytics and Omniture.

Multimedia Developer Internship, Iona Group, Inc., Morton, IL – 2005-2006

Database and asset management for various Flash-based, touch-screen kiosks. Graphics preparation, resource collection and image reproduction/illustration for a host of multimedia projects. Preliminary website development for the www.ionagroup.com redesign project. Video digitization and editing on an occasional project.
